I had a Wassily reproduction for 40 years. Loved it but two leather straps broke and it was easier to replace than fix.

It's wonderful to look at and surprisingly supportive to sit in. Being brand new, I think it will take some time to "break in" to become a bit less firm.

I love this chair. It arrived today. Immediately changed the feeling in the living room. Minimal look. Comfortable seating. To get this iconic chair with this price is amazing. The color of the stitching as mentioned in previous reviews didn't bother me much but would it have been better if they chose a different color. Still, I love it.

Box arrived in deplorable condition. Right side armrest's outside metal support rod bent inwards. I'm concerned if that will compromise chair structurally. Considering an exchange for one that doesn't look like a previous 'return' from someone. It's a shame, Wassily is a spectacular chair, and I've wanted one forever. This replica is well made and so far sturdy.

This is the famous Wassily chair designed by Marcel Breuer for Kandinsky's studio when he was artist-in-residence at the Bauhaus in 1925-26. Despite appearances, it's amazingly comfortable to sit in and looks awesome in our mid-century modern living room. Fans of Frasier will recognize this from his apartment. All our guests comment on both the appearance and comfort of this chair. If you want a mid-century modern look, this is an inexpensive add-on to your room.
